China is interested in establishing business contacts with the Orsha Flax Mill

In October, the administration of the Vitebsk Free Economic Zone presented the investment potential of the Dvina region and its own at the International Harbin Trade and Economic Fair EXPO-2015.

As reported to the editorial office of "Vitbichi" by the head of the administration of the FEZ "Vitebsk", Sergey Yurkevich, in addition to participating in the exhibition, which highlights the considerable economic opportunities of the Vitebsk region and the FEZ "Vitebsk" itself, administration representatives met with the heads of the Harbin Zone of Technical and Economic Development, the Industrial Zone of Development and New High Technologies of Harbin city, the China International Chamber of Commerce of Heilongjiang Province, and Chinese businessmen invited to these working meetings.

As a result of the negotiations, the issue of signing a cooperation agreement between the FEZ "Vitebsk" and the Administrative Committee of the Harbin Zone of Technical and Economic Development is being worked out. Business circles of the Celestial Empire showed interest in establishing contacts with one of the residents of the FEZ "Vitebsk" - the Orsha Linen Mill. Negotiations were also held with representatives of a number of Chinese companies.

Participation in the International Harbin Trade and Economic Fair will contribute to the expansion of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the enterprises-residents of the FEZ "Vitebsk" and the economic entities of the People's Republic of China.
