Chinese corporations will support the construction of new workshops at the Orsha Meat Canning Plant

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus and two major Chinese corporations, Xinrongji Holding Group and DRex Food Group, have signed a roadmap for cooperation.

It provides for the implementation of several large-scale projects with a total cost of over 1 billion dollars by the end of 2017.

In addition to the creation of a joint stock company that will export Belarusian goods and food products to the Celestial Empire, and the opening of an enterprise in the "Great Stone" industrial park for the production of a new type of packaging based on polylactic acid, Chinese partners have expressed their desire to thoroughly work through the issue of investing in Belarusian processing enterprises.

In particular, this applies to the Orsha Meat Canning Plant, which needs the construction of new slaughter and sausage shops, reported Minister of Agriculture and Food Leonid Zayats.
