Chinese investor interested in creating a unique woodworking production in Polotsk district

This was discussed during the visit of representatives of business circles from China, Norway, and Russia, interested in implementing a joint project, to the Polotsk region.

After the meeting at the district executive committee, the guests inspected land plots for possible construction and familiarized themselves with the investment potential of the district. Local authorities expressed their readiness to provide comprehensive assistance to potential investors in realizing their intentions.

Currently, as explained by the First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Sergey Leychenko, options for implementing the business project with maximum benefit for everyone are being worked out. If it is implemented, the district will create more than 200 new jobs and attract over 100 million euros in foreign investment. It is important that the new production promises to be comprehensive, waste-free, with a full cycle of wood processing. Products with high added value will be fully supplied for export.
