Representatives of China, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordan were able to get acquainted with Belarusian traditions in the agro-town of Mazolovo, Vitebsk region. Local cultural workers prepared the entertainment program "Together for the New Year" for them.

The foreign guests had to reach the main winter wizard Ded Moroz and his granddaughter Snegurochka, overcoming the challenges prepared by Baba Yaga and Kikimora. Active outdoor games not only created a festive mood but also allowed them to warm up on a frosty day. In the company of fairy-tale characters, the students joined the costumed revelers and walked through the settlement to the sounds of folk songs.

Student of the 3rd year of VSU named after P. Masherov Yan Min shared his impressions. The young man, who is studying to be a music teacher, was most surprised by the artists of the ensemble "Verasnyanka":

Certainly, the traditional Belarusian dish was not forgotten – the hospitable hosts treated the carolers with it. The program for the guests also included an excursion to the ethno-exhibition and a master class on making Christmas cards using the cut-out technique.
