For Valentine's Day. Oksana Novikova's solo concert will be held in Vitebsk

Ко Дню Влюбленных. Сольный концерт Оксаны Новиковой пройдет в Витебске

Solo concert of Oksana NOVIKOVA "LOVE AND LIFE OF A WOMAN", dedicated to Valentine's Day, will take place on February 14 at 18:30 in the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic Hall.

The lyrical concert, dedicated to Valentine's Day, tells about the sorrows and joys in a woman's life, starting from her maiden years. A woman's spiritual world is full of the all-consuming feeling of love, which drives all her thoughts and actions; it is suffering from unrequited love, as well as boundless maternal love as an awareness of the continuation of life in children. This theme has become the basis of the soloist's concert, transforming it into a kind of creative evening.

Oksana Novikova offers a kind of experiment, where pop music pieces are performed by an artist who works with classical music. Today, world masterpieces often sound in modern arrangements. Oksana Novikova offers the opposite option, and this was in the work of many artists of the academic genre, for example, M. Magomaev, T. Sinyavskaya, who performed on stage. For the first time, the soloist's concert consists of works of this genre, without great masterpieces of classical music, for today, with a certain amount of humor.

The concert itself will have an unusual form of a theatrical performance. That is, the numbers are not announced, but there is a continuous action that should tell about a woman's entire life – her hopes, disappointments, love, marriage. The finale will be life-affirming, speaking of the birth of new life. Various technical and artistic means are used in the concert: from video to shadow theater.

The program will include works by: T. Gverdtsiteli "Dedication to a Woman", M. Fadeev "Star", K. Breitburg's aria of Tarakanova from the musical "Blue Cameo", I. Krutoy "Love of Tired Swans", R. Pauls "Valentine's Day", etc.

The concert features soloists of the philharmonic Elena Grakova, Alena Papko, as well as the dance duo – Alexander Veremiev and Irina Krasovskaya.
