Coffee, tea, beer, and kvass have become the main attractions of new tourist routes around Vitebsk

May 19, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. "Tasty" tours have appeared in Vitebsk. Coffee, tea, beer, and kvass have become the main attractions of new tourist routes around the regional center, Lyudmila Senkovskaya, General Director of the tourist and excursion private unitary enterprise "Vitebskturist" of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, told a BELTA correspondent. Connoisseurs of the foamy drink are invited to visit "Beer Paradise". A tour under this name will introduce the history of brewing in the Vitebsk region, which, incidentally, dates back to the 19th century, will tell about the traditions associated with this drink, and, of course, will include a tasting. In addition to beer, special snacks produced by local enterprises and prepared by the restaurant will be served, and those who wish can treat themselves to real kvass. The city, as it turned out, also has a coffee flavor. The "Vitebsk with a taste of coffee" route will introduce the aristocratic traditions of this provincial city, tell about its social life, and show places where respectable provincial families took their evening strolls. And after the walk, tourists can expect aromatic coffee or a tea ceremony. All these routes are certified and have already received the approval of the first tourists. According to Lyudmila Senkovskaya, the creation of unusual routes is dictated by the needs of vacationers. Traditional excursions to historical sites with sightseeing are giving way to thematic routes. -0-
