Professional driving competitions for motor transport drivers have been held in Belarus annually since 2000 and include contests to test knowledge of traffic rules and driving skills. The competitions are organized in two stages: qualifying regional and final. The qualifying rounds were conducted by motor transport organizations independently, and the final rounds are organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications in conjunction with the Republican Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Transport and Road Workers and the DOSAAF association. -0-
