Комитет по труду Витебского облисполкома отмечает рост доли электронных обращений

The Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee notes an increase in the share of electronic appeals in the total volume of citizens' appeals. This was announced today by the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee, Natalia Khval, at an expanded meeting of the committee's board.

In January-September, specialists of the region's social services processed over 130 thousand applications for the implementation of various administrative procedures. The committee received 656 citizens' appeals, which is 15% more than in the same period of 2014. The number of electronic appeals has particularly increased by 82.7%. According to Natalia Khval, the implementation of measures to enhance the informatization of this work, provided for by the new version of Directive No. 2 "On Debureaucratization of the State Apparatus and Improving the Quality of Ensuring the Population's Livelihood," played a role here.

The Deputy Chairperson of the committee added that in the new version, the mechanisms for working with citizens and organizations are more clearly regulated, and the emphasis is placed on improving it at the local level. The largest share among the appeals is occupied by issues of the correctness of applying labor payment systems and forms and salary accrual, calculation of pension amounts, observance of payment deadlines, including benefits for childcare up to the age of 3 years, and requests for assistance in employment. All appeals were considered taking into account the specifics of the particular situation and the study of the provided documents. No violations of the consideration deadlines were allowed. In connection with the increase in appeals on labor, employment, and social protection issues, the committee sent two letters, which instructed the chairpersons of city and district executive committees to take special control over the provision of social standards by organizations in the subordinate territories and the observance of labor legislation norms. Also, to pay maximum attention to improving the effectiveness of work with citizens.

Natalia Khval noted that there has been a decrease in the number of appeals regarding social support, which is facilitated by the work of information centers for elderly citizens and rapid response services at territorial centers for social services for the population. Some of them, incidentally, post information about their services in utility bills. And a proposal has been made to expand this practice. In addition, a section "Your Questions - Our Answers" has been created on the committee's website.

It includes answers to questions received through "direct telephone lines," explanations of norms of adopted legislative acts, and other information. The work of 20 "hotline" telephones covering all areas of the committee's activities has been organized on a permanent basis. Media resources are being utilized.
