The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus has summed up the results of the main indicators of socio-labour sphere development in 2016.

The purpose of conducting a comprehensive assessment of the fulfillment of socio-economic indicators is to increase the efficiency of the work of labour, employment and social protection bodies and organizations of the committee system, as well as to stimulate employees to achieve high performance indicators in the field of labour, employment and social protection, and to improve work with citizens.
For five consecutive years, the Committee for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee has held leading positions in the republic based on the results of the socio-economic competition: twice awarded the Second Degree Diploma, and three times recognized as the winner.
