The complex of the former children's camp in the Orsha district has been sold at auction

The complex of the former children's health resort "Solnyshko" in the Orsha district has been sold at auction for Br52 thousand.

In 2012, the facility was transferred to the state enterprise "Hotel-Orsha" and was used until 2017 as the "Devino" recreation center. It includes 28 capital structures, including two dormitories, four staff houses, a club, a basketball court, a medical center, a canteen, warehouses with extensions, a guardhouse, a security post, a shower room, a drying room, a toilet, a water tower, an artesian well, sewage treatment facilities, as well as networks (water supply, sewerage, heating, and electricity). A land plot with a total area of 6 hectares is allocated for the recreation center, which is leased to the new owner for 20 years.

The first auction for this lot was held in January of the current year. Subsequent auctions were held with price reductions. Due to the lack of interested parties, the district executive committee decided to sell the recreation center at one base value for each object (the base value is currently Br25.5). Thus, the cost of the lot offered for sale was Br714. Five applicants expressed a desire to purchase it. At the fortieth step of the auction, the recreation center was sold for Br52 thousand to a private trading enterprise from the Orsha district.

The founder of the firm, Sergey Vainilovich, told journalists about the plans for using the facility. "We plan to make it a recreation center here, possibly with a campsite. We will preserve all the infrastructure of the former camp. Moreover, a significant amount of work will have to be done to repair and restore it, which will require additional financial investments. Therefore, we are already thinking about the possibility of attracting other investors for the development of this facility," shared the new owner.

Since the beginning of the year, the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee has sold a total of 76 properties for more than Br2.5 million, of which 34 properties were sold for one base value.
