April 28, Minsk /Corr. BELTA/. Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Boris Batura held a reception of citizens at the Polotsk City Executive Committee today. This was reported to BELTA correspondent by the information department of the Secretariat of the Council of the Republic. "During the reception, issues of healthcare and social protection of certain categories of the population were discussed, in particular, some aspects of medical care. The appeal of one of the visitors concerned the pension provision of disabled people. Issues of legality and validity of court decisions made on a dispute about debt repayment at the expense of guarantors when one of the residents of Polotsk received a loan to buy an apartment were also considered," the department said. Boris Batura assured citizens that their appeals would receive specific answers. Based on the results of the personal reception of visitors, officials of Polotsk received relevant assignments to resolve problematic issues. -0-
