This was announced today by Gennady Svidersky, Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus, in response to a question from a BELTA correspondent, during a visit to the exhibition of new products of industrial enterprises of the Vitebsk region, organized at the base of OJSC "Vityaz". According to the Deputy Minister, today Belarusian enterprises can produce equipment that meets world standards and will be competitive in domestic and foreign markets. All work is focused on this. As an example, he cited the joint production of "Midea-Horizon", organized by a Belarusian enterprise and a Chinese company. Another evidence of successful work can be the activities of CJSC "Atlant". "In 2009 and 2010, the enterprise supplied large batches of refrigerators to Germany - a market already oversaturated with household appliances. This is confirmation that the products meet world requirements," emphasized Gennady Svidersky. One of the most important tasks facing the enterprises of the Ministry of Industry today is the need to provide machine-building and tractor-building with multifunctional high-quality electronics of their own production. "This work is underway. However, the factories producing these products must supply them not only to MAZ, MTZ and Russia, but also undergo certification and master new markets," noted Gennady Svidersky. -0-
