A competition of brass bands will be held for the first time in the Vitebsk region
The regional competition of wind orchestras will be held in the Vitebsk region for the first time.
The initiator and organizer is the regional methodological center of folk art. As explained by the chief conductor of the RMCTFA, Evgeny Osipovich, the competition is held with the aim of preserving traditional musical culture and improving the professional skills of performers.
The creative competition, titled "Orchestras Sound over the Dvina and Dnieper," is held among wind orchestras and orchestras of folk instruments, for children and adults. Due to the epidemic situation, the competition has been announced in an online format. Participants must send video recordings of two diverse pieces by December 18.
