The Vitebsk Estrada Song Performers Competition will continue to promote live performance

July 13, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The international pop song performers contest "Vitebsk" will continue to promote live performance, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Belarus Vladimir Rylatko told a BELTA correspondent. The Ministry of Culture of Belarus has again announced a competition for the best directorial idea for a vocal competition. Vladimir Rylatko noted that the current experience of holding the first competition day, when the contestant's song was illustrated on stage with choreographic and circus compositions, will be continued. Perhaps by next year, participants will be asked to prepare their own show. The First Deputy Minister did not rule out that vocalists will have to diversify their repertoire. "We have embarked on the path of creating a spectacular competition," said Vladimir Rylatko. The main task of the competition remains the same - to demonstrate vocal skills. "We will move towards eliminating backing tracks, and therefore performance with orchestra accompaniment will remain," said the First Deputy Minister. The creators of the new concept for holding the competition face a difficult task - to make the competition spectacular and at the same time not turn it into a TV show. Vladimir Rylatko stated that this year the audience was able to get acquainted with a new style of song culture, which was vividly demonstrated by the performer from Macedonia, Vlatko Lozanoski. "The Belarusian and Russian performers represent the traditional school of singing, while the Macedonian and Moldovan performers showed something new," he added. -0-
