The Vitebsk pop song исполнитель competition may undergo changes next year

July 16, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The international pop song performers contest "Vitebsk" may undergo changes next year, the general director of the "Vitebsk" Cultural Center, director of the international arts festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" Rodion Bass told a BELTA correspondent. "We are discussing various options for changing the contest format. There is a proposal for contestants to send recordings of several songs for selection. This way, we will be able to diversify the program of the contest concert by choosing works of different genres and tempos," Rodion Bass said. In his opinion, the XXI International Pop Song Performers Contest was a success and revealed talented young singers who have a successful creative career ahead of them. Rodion Bass did not rule out that the prize-winners of this year's contest will come to the festival as professional artists. And the festival director intends to make the first such offer to Samantha Tina from Latvia, who took second place in terms of points scored. "This singer has a great future," Rodion Bass is confident. -0-
