The Vitebsk performing artists competition is one of the strongest in Europe - M. Dunaevsky

July 16, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Maxim Dunaevsky is convinced that the Vitebsk pop song performers' contest is one of the strongest not only in the CIS but also in Europe. The renowned composer, People's Artist of Russia, and chairman of the jury of the 21st International Contest stated this today while presenting the Grand Prix of the contest to Macedonian performer Boban Mojsovski, a BELTA correspondent reports. "I feel sad because today, with the end of the contest, I have to part with very talented performers – our contestants. I have worked in many contests as a jury member and can say with full confidence that this is the strongest contest not only in the post-Soviet space but also in Europe, because professionals participate in it," he emphasized. The chairman of the jury wished the contestants not to rest on their laurels and to continue working, as only then can success come. -0-
