The competition for young 3D designers will open the science festival in Vitebsk

The regional competition in technical 3D modeling among secondary educational institutions "I Create the Future" will be held at the Vitebsk State Technological University on March 19, as reported by Konstantin Matveev, director of the university's Science and Technology Park.

Participants will include both primary school students and students of lyceums and colleges who have skills in computer three-dimensional modeling using the KOMPAS-3D software. Winners will be determined in several age groups.

As of today, 22 participants have already registered, including a third-grader. "For example, many of the children who studied with our university's instructor Alexey Golubev in an elective course organized following a master class last October will be present. Additionally, 6 schoolchildren from Orsha will come, who have been trained in KOMPAS for a long time by Andrey Pavlov, a teacher at Secondary School No. 8. His students have repeatedly become winners of the international competition 'Future Aces of Computer 3D Modeling'," noted Konstantin Matveev. The competition is held with the support of the Ascon group of companies and private innovative companies – residents of the technopark and will be the first event in the program of the 4th stage of the republican festival of youth university science "Youth in Science and Production," which will take place at VSTU from March 19 to 30.

A seminar with a master class on technical 3D modeling and the awards ceremony for the winners of "I Create the Future" are scheduled for March 24. In total, a series of events will take place during the festival days:

international scientific-practical conference "Modeling in Engineering and Economics", exhibitions of technical creativity of the region's youth and diploma works of design students, demonstration of linen collections from the VSTU Student Fashion House, business club, master class on robotics and mechatronics for students and graduates of secondary schools, and others.
