A competition among young scientists and specialists for the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee awards has been announced in the region
The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee has announced an open regional competition for awards for talented young scientists and specialists in the region, BelTA reports with reference to the official website of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The annual competition is held to stimulate research activities of young scientists and specialists engaged in promising scientific research and development in organizations of the Vitebsk region.
The competition is held in two nominations: "Fundamental Research" (three awards) and "Applied Research and Development" (four awards, including one for the best development aimed at achieving savings and efficiency). Doctors of sciences under 45 years of age, candidates of sciences under 35 years of age, scientists without a degree under 30 years of age, who have at least three scientific publications in journals and collections of scientific works on the topic of the competition work, are eligible to participate in the competition.
Applications for participation are accepted until December 1, 2012.
