Souvenir competition announced in Braslav district

A competition for the best souvenir has been announced in the Braslav district, the deputy chairman of the Braslav district executive committee, Valentina Vysotskaya, told a BELTA correspondent. All interested parties are invited to participate in the open competition "Braslav Souvenir-2010": artists, designers, folk craftsmen, enterprises and organizations. They can submit any work. The only condition is that the souvenir must be related to Braslav and, accordingly, contain the attributes of the city or district. Works are accepted until April 15. The winners of the competition will be announced in May at the international festival of traditional culture "Braslav Zarnitsy". The three best authors will receive diplomas and cash prizes, and their souvenirs will be gifts for honored guests and participants of the international forum. In addition, the organizer of the competition, the Braslav District Executive Committee, will assist in promoting the products of the winner who took first place, noted Valentina Vysotskaya. The competition is timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the formation of the Braslav district and the 945th anniversary of Braslav. -0-
