The concert of the Symphony Orchestra of Chinese Radio and Television will be held today at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic as part of the Days of Chinese Culture in Belarus, the Philharmonic informed a BELTA correspondent. The Vitebsk public will get acquainted with the work of the widely known musical ensemble for the first time. Information about the upcoming concert has generated keen interest and resonance not only among musicologists but also among ordinary classical music fans, so a full house is expected at the performance of the Chinese artists. The repertoire brought to the regional center by the musicians will feature national folk music and compositions by contemporary Chinese composers, as well as classical works from the world's musical heritage. A pleasant gift for the Vitebsk audience will be the piece "Souvenirs" by the famous Belarusian composer Yevgeny Glebov, specially prepared by the orchestra.
