A scientific and practical conference in Vitebsk will be dedicated to correctional work with minors
The regional scientific and practical conference "Illegal Behavior of Minors: Prevention and Organization of Correctional Work" will be held today in Vitebsk, the regional institute for the development of education informed a BELTA correspondent.
The event will be attended by teachers from all districts of the region, teachers and methodologists of the Vitebsk Regional Institute for the Development of Education, representatives of medical institutions, public organizations, the Orthodox Church, as well as law enforcement officers.
The main goal of the conference is to exchange psycho-pedagogical work experience and unite the efforts of pedagogical workers of the region in the sphere of moral and legal education, and to improve scientific and methodological support.
The conference organizing committee received 50 reports. Section meetings will focus on the system of work to prevent illegal actions of students. Participants will discuss methods and practices for preventing antisocial behavior of minors, as well as the role of the socio-cultural environment in fostering moral and civic self-awareness of individuals.
The conference is held with the participation of the education department of the regional executive committee, the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Diocese, the Regional Clinical Center for Psychiatry and Narcology, the regional committee of the NGO "BRSM", and the Regional Institute for the Development of Education.
