The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, once again reminded about the inadmissibility of collecting money in schools and giving expensive gifts to teachers. He made such a statement during a joint meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Presidium of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, according to a BELTA correspondent.
"Bouquets of flowers, a gift made by a student with their own hands, to a dear teacher - that's one thing. But when parents collect money and bring gifts from the store - that's a completely different matter," said the governor.
Addressing the Head of the Education Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets demanded that his opinion be conveyed to the teaching staff on the eve of the New Year holidays.
