A colorful meadow of fruit paintings and art objects will be created in Polotsk

In Polotsk, on the occasion of Apple Spas today, a colorful meadow of fruit paintings and art objects will be created. The organizers of the "Apple art" project in Polotsk invite everyone to create fruit compositions using apples, as reported by the press service of the Polotsk District Executive Committee. Apple paintings and art objects will adorn Polotsk for three days, and photographs of the best works will be transferred to the city's Art Gallery.

A number of other apple-related events will also take place in Polotsk: culinary experts will be able to leave their recipe in the "Applerecipes" cookbook, and gardeners are invited to participate in "Gardening Literacy," where recommendations will be given on growing, caring for, fertilizing, and watering fruit trees, storing fruits, etc. Fun sports competitions "Apple holiday" will be held with apple shooting, a contest for the fastest apple eating, and carving the longest apple peel, among other activities. The organizers of the "Apple and Art" project (employees of the National Polotsk Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, library staff, specialists from the education, sports, and tourism departments of the District Executive Committee) will hold discussions and lectures on the works of I. Khrutsky and organize an art plein air.

The event is aimed at the spiritual, moral, and aesthetic education of society, the revival of the traditions of celebrating the Apple Spas holiday, and the popularization of original folk art and agricultural production.
