The Mound of Friendship will once again, for the 58th time, become a meeting place for veterans from Belarus, Russia, and Latvia

Within the framework of the regular 58th meeting of underground fighters and partisans of Belarus, Russia, and Latvia, solemn events will be held on July 2, 2017, at the Mound of Friendship in the Verkhnedvinsk district and on the Russian side. A delegation from the Vitebsk region, numbering over 200 people, as well as representatives of the public of Pridvinye, will take part in these events.

The delegation of the region will be headed by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Sherstnev Nikolai Nikolaevich.

During the celebration of the three states, delegations will lay wreaths at the monuments to fallen patriots during the Great Patriotic War and exchange souvenirs. Artistic and creative groups will perform concert programs for the guests.
