Latvian builders will erect two apartment buildings in the Vitebsk region

Builders from Daugavpils will get jobs at the Vitebsk House-Building Combine, the General Director of the Vitebsk House-Building Combine (DSK) state enterprise, Anatoly Strik, told a BELTA correspondent today. The Latvian construction company has been offered to participate in the construction of two multi-apartment residential buildings in Vitebsk and Shumilino districts. In this case, not only the houses themselves, but also the adjacent territory will be handed over on a turnkey basis. Colleagues from the neighboring country will also be engaged in its landscaping and greening, Anatoly Strik added. The designs for these houses were developed by Vitebsk architects. It is assumed that thanks to cooperation with DSK, about 100 Latvian builders will get jobs in the Vitebsk region. As Anatoly Strik emphasized, the involvement of foreign specialists will in no way affect the employment of domestic builders. "The volume of construction is growing, and the enterprise is experiencing a shortage of personnel," he said. This year, the combine is to build 162.4 thousand square meters of housing. Over eight months, 106 thousand square meters have been commissioned. Vitebsk DSK is one of the leading enterprises in the construction industry of the Vitebsk region. It specializes in the construction of residential, industrial and agricultural facilities. The combine was founded in 1966. It employs 3.4 thousand people. -0-
