Laureates of the regional stage of the "Woman of the Year – 2022" competition were honored in Vitebsk
– Recently, we have seen that it is women who carry many projects implemented in the city, region, and country on their fragile shoulders. And today, it is very important to recognize your work, achievements, and express words of gratitude. You inspire us men, give meaning to our work, and surround us with warmth and care, – noted the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Anatoly Linevich, emphasized that the role of women in the modern world is growing every day. Beautiful and talented, they demonstrate an active civic stance, combine various roles, and inspire others by their example.
Among those who took to the stage to receive their well-deserved award was Polina Kosobutskaya, a pensioner and a member of the primary organization of the Belarusian Women's Union at the Senno Central Regional Hospital. In the post-war years, a native of the village of Medvedi, Verkhnedvinsk district, she graduated from the medical institute in Vitebsk. By assignment, she came to the Senno region, where she worked as a pediatrician for 41 years. Polina Alexandrovna is a member of the district coordination council of public associations and political parties, representing the Belarusian Association of Former Minor Prisoners of Fascism, sings in the veteran choir, and is a volunteer for the Red Cross.
– In the final of the competition, Vitebsk region will be represented in various nominations by seven winners – these are leaders, veterans, mothers who raise not only their own children, rural workers, and honored workers. The main thing that unites them all is love for children, their country, and care for the future of our state, – noted Marina Novitskaya, Chairperson of the regional organization of the Belarusian Women's Union, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee.
– In the nomination "Successful Leader", Vitebsk region will be represented by Anna Buren, a member of the primary organization of the NGO "BWU", Director of the Polotsk State Chemical-Technological College;
– In the nomination "Mistress of the Village" – Anfia Berezko, member of the board of the Gorodok district organization of the NGO "BWU", Chairperson of the Palminsky Rural Council of Deputies of the Gorodok district;
– In the nomination "Active Civic Stance" – Olga Naboyschikova, Chairperson of the primary organization of the NGO "BWU" of the Polimir plant, OJSC "Naftan" Polimir plant, Head of the sector for informational and educational work;
– In the nomination "I Give My Heart to People" – Anastasia Yaroshchenko, member of the primary organization of the NGO "BWU", a 4th-year student of the pedagogical faculty of VSU named after P. Masherov;
– In the nomination "Maternal Glory" – Oksana Pogorelova, member of the primary organization of the NGO "BWU", a pedagogical psychologist at the Oktyabrsky kindergarten of the Vitebsk region;
– In the nomination "Spirituality and Culture" – Zhanna Balabueva, Chairperson of the primary organization of the NGO "BWU", Director of the Glubokoye Children's Art School named after Yuzef Drozdovich;
– In the nomination "Veterans' Souls Never Age" – Polina Alexandrovna, a pensioner, a member of the primary organization of the NGO "BWU" of the Senno Central District Hospital.
