Such unusual guests will appear near the main Christmas tree of the regional center on Victory Square thanks to the creative youth of the city's educational institutions. The ice was prepared and delivered the day before, and today, friendly teams of students from VSU named after P.M. Masherov, as well as technological and technical colleges of the city, together with their teachers, will be working on ice cubes about 2 m high throughout the day. The creators of the most interesting and beautiful figure will be honored here on December 31. However, incentive prizes will also be awarded to the other two participating teams. The ice figures will delight residents and guests of the city as long as the weather permits. And the competition will become permanent, as it has already attracted huge interest from various educational institutions in the city, Alexander Sidorenko added. The organizers of the event are the Department of Culture and Youth Affairs and Defense Mobilization Work of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, and the Vitebsk City Committee of the BRSM. -0-
