Leonid Anfimov: good organization of work and yield inspire hope for a worthy harvest outcome

Leonid Anfimov familiarized himself with the progress of the harvest, talked with the head of the farm, combine operators, as well as the chairmen of the Polotsk District Executive Committee and the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee. Summarizing the visit to the agricultural enterprise, the head of the control department noted that the task is to carry out the harvest at a good pace and with high quality. "It is important to minimize losses and reach the finish line with the maximum result. Given that grain yields and harvest rates across the republic are higher than last year, I think we will complete the harvest with good indicators," said Leonid Anfimov.

Sharing his impressions of the visit to OJSC "Kushliki", the Chairman of the CSC noted that the harvest is proceeding at a sufficient pace. "I don't see any downsides. So far, no one is talking about fuel problems either, although they are working, as they say, on the go. Of course, one would like to have a small fuel reserve to avoid force majeure. But now the work is proceeding at a sufficient pace," emphasized Leonid Anfimov. - Due to climatic conditions, the Vitebsk region starts harvesting later than other regions, the mass harvest is just beginning here. In this farm, where we are today, the yield is almost 20 centners higher than last year. So the prospects for the harvest here are good, and with proper organization of work, with the support of local authorities, the harvest will be carried out on time and with proper quality." In addition to the agricultural enterprise OJSC "Kushliki", Leonid Anfimov visited OJSC "Polotsk-Steklovolokno", where he familiarized himself with the production and products, and also met with the employees of the enterprise.
