June 18, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Open Joint Stock Company "Lepel Dairy and Canning Plant" has resumed work with partners from the Russian Federation, the enterprise's director Alexander Mikhailovsky told a BELTA correspondent today.
According to him, the volume of butter and cheese supplies is currently being clarified. Product shipment will begin tomorrow. Lepel Dairy and Canning Plant has prepared all the necessary documents for re-registration of its products in the accredited laboratories of Rospotrebnadzor.
However, for the Lepel plant, the main export commodity to the Russian Federation was dry milk. Currently, dry milk is shipped to Mongolia and Venezuela, Sudan, as well as to some CIS countries. Exports account for about 60% of the total production volume. The share of export supplies to CIS countries was over 90%.
