Summer school for Chinese students opened in Vitebsk

The cultural and educational project of the Vitebsk university, within the framework of which students and teachers from Beijing United University and Peking University come to the city on the Dvina to learn the Russian language, as well as to get acquainted with Belarusian national culture, is gaining popularity among Chinese partners every year.

– If in 2016 we hosted a group of 18 people, then this year – already 30, – said Olga Dyatlovskaya, Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Training of Foreign Citizens, – In addition to familiarizing themselves with our university and the educational program, we traditionally prepare various cultural and educational events for the summer school students, including excursions around Vitebsk and Polotsk. Trips to Mogilev, Mir, Nesvizh are planned.

The summer school for students from the Celestial Empire will run until July 23, upon its completion, all project participants will receive special certificates.
