– For next year, the plan is as follows: of the 2.5 million square meters of housing planned for construction with state support, half will be built for beneficiaries. The second half, taking into account the shortage of cheap credit resources, will be supported by the state by subsidizing bank lending rates by half the refinancing rate. The citizen will pay the rest themselves. The rate for such loans should average 15-16% per annum. She also recalled that the National Bank, together with the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Architecture and Construction, and the Ministry of Finance, is developing a state system of construction savings: "For at least three years, the citizen will save money in a bank at a rate that compensates for the increase in housing construction prices. For the remaining part – 75% – they will be provided with a preferential loan. Beneficiaries, and possibly those in need, will be able to use the system."
