Leaders of the republican and regional organization "Belarusian Women's Union" Olga Shpilevskaya and Marina Novitskaya met with the women's community of the Pervomaysky district of Vitebsk
– When we meet with active women, we always touch upon pressing issues. They concern both foreign policy and the situation within the country. Looking each other in the eye, we discuss important issues and exchange opinions, – noted Olga Shpilevskaya.
Addressing the topic of the military-political situation in the world, Olga Alexandrovna emphasized that recently every piece of news about a conflict between neighboring states is perceived very painfully:
– Today, attempts to ignite the world continue, provocations from the West do not subside. Unfortunately, there is still no order and tranquility in countries that were friendly towards Belarus.
The meeting of the representatives of the Belarusian Women's Union was held in a "question-and-answer" format. The participants were interested in how the leader of the republican women's organization manages to successfully work on television and create various projects, engage in work in a public organization, and find time for family and rest.
Also at the meeting, Olga ShpilevskayaShe spoke in more detail about the work of the Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company and significant Belarusian projects that highlight the activities of the national economy under sanctions. The initiative to create audiovisual media, where the most relevant news and projects for women will be broadcast, was proposed by representatives of the Vitebsk branch of RUP "Beltelecom". Several questions were asked to the head of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Women's Union, head of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Marina Novitskaya. The women were interested in what events will take place in the recently created regional club "Happiness" and which sources of information Marina Vladimirovna trusts the most.
Active representatives of the BWS from Shumilino, Gorodok, Liozno, and Beshenkovichi were connected via video link with the participants of the dialogue platform. They thanked Olga Shpilevskaya and Marina Novitskaya, as well as all the organizers, for the warm meeting.
