Home-based learning is being created for young people with disabilities in Glubokoye

Specialists of the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of the Gluboksky District organized a mobile lyceum for citizens in need of assistance.

The new service, provided by employees of the day care department for disabled people of the TCCSON, involves comprehensive social support for people with limited mobility and developmental disabilities who wish to learn, explore the world around them, and be part of a group. Specialists conduct thematic classes at the place of residence of young disabled people. Their task is to help everyone in need acquire general knowledge related to various spheres of human life, and to improve previously acquired skills and abilities. Socio-domestic and socio-labor rehabilitation will help young disabled people better navigate the modern world, feel more confident, and be able to make the right decisions.

- The mobile lyceum contributes to the successful adaptation and socialization in society of people with developmental disabilities, - notes Inna Paramonova, head of the day care department for disabled people of the territorial center. - We strive to help everyone in need whenever possible. I hope that over time, residents of other settlements in the district will also be able to use this service.
