LLK-Naftan plans to increase the production of new products by 2.6 times in 2010

July 29, Minsk / Irina Aniskevich - BELTA /. SOOO "LLK-Naftan" plans to increase the production volume of new products by 2.6 times to 2.64 thousand tons this year compared to 2009. This was reported to BELTA correspondent by Mikhail Babushkin, Deputy Director for Production and Technical Issues of the enterprise. "LLK-Naftan" made a scientific breakthrough in the domestic production of additives in 2009-2010. Thus, the enterprise's specialists developed fundamentally new additive components, which formed the basis for creating additive packages for modern and advanced oils. No additive manufacturer in the entire post-Soviet space offers additive packages of this level using its own additive components; American companies' packages are used in oil production. Mikhail Babushkin explained that with the current level of engine engineering development, it is practically impossible to use oil without additives, as they provide effective engine protection. For this reason, all modern engine oils contain an additive package, the content of which can reach up to 20% in total. In May of this year, the enterprise began the production and sale of a new additive package RA-2503-2 for gasoline automotive oils of the SG/CD performance level. Universal engine oils for passenger cars and commercial vehicles are produced from this multifunctional additive package. By the end of the year, it is planned to sell up to 1.5 tons of this additive package. In the future, the enterprise plans to master additive packages for transmission and hydraulic oils, fuels, and other products. This year, SOOO "LLK-Naftan" plans to increase its production volume by 43% compared to 2009 and produce 29.1 thousand tons of products. Exports are planned to increase by 53%. Currently, 85% of the products manufactured at the enterprise are supplied to Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Turkey, Romania, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, and Tatarstan. SOOO "LLK-Naftan" was established on April 28, 2006. The founders are OJSC "Naftan" (Belarus) and LLK International B.V. (Netherlands, a subsidiary of OJSC LUKOIL, Russia). The main activities of "LLK-Naftan" are the production and sale of additives and additive packages for lubricating oils, with the priority of supplying these products to OJSC "Naftan" and LUKOIL plants, including to reduce the dependence of these enterprises on imported additives from far abroad. At the same time, "LLK-Naftan" has the largest production capacities for the production of oil additives in the CIS. The range of products manufactured includes products of various functional groups capable of providing a wide range of performance properties for modern oils. -0-
