Impeccable knowledge of traffic rules, masterful maneuvering on the driving range, and astonishingly precise stopping at the stop line. The best driving instructor in the DOSAAF structures of the Vitebsk region was chosen in the regional center.

In addition to driving instructors, the competition also includes traffic rules instructors, chief accountants, and directors of DOSAAF structures, – noted Vasily Korobov, Chairman of the Council of the Vitebsk Regional DOSAAF Organization. For example, managers answered questions on traffic rules, regulatory framework, and even psychology, as they must be able to resolve various conflict situations. Accountants performed tasks on document processing and demonstrated their proficiency in the 1C program, version 8. Theory instructors solved traffic rules tests themselves, as well as tests on regulatory acts related to the training process.

11 teams from regional DOSAAF structures arrived at the competition. A novelty of this year's regional round is that before performing driving elements in a car, participants had to pass tests on traffic rules knowledge; penalty points were awarded for errors.

– Everyone had to complete 8 exercises against the clock: slalom forward and backward, drive through a tunnel, perform a parallel park and a bay park, make a U-turn in a confined space, stop and continue driving on an incline, then stop at the stop line within a specified range, – explained Nikolai Ratushnyak, Chief Judge of the competition and Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Regional DOSAAF Organization.

Viktor Rubanik from Sharkovshchyna can perform all these elements almost with his eyes closed. For several years in a row, he has been recognized as the best among masters in category "B" and holds the first place among teachers. Last year, 100% of his students passed their driving tests on the first try.

He became the leader among instructors. The best teacher works in Orsha – this is Vyacheslav Karapuzov. Tatyana Klakovskaya from Braslav coped with the tasks for accountants more professionally than anyone else, and Maxim Aleksin from Glubokoye ROS won among the heads of DOSAAF structures of the Vitebsk region.
