The best young investigator will be determined in the Vitebsk region

An educational and methodological training session for employees of the investigative units of the region with a service record of no more than two years is being held at the Vitebsk Cadet School until August 19, reported Inna Gorbacheva, the official representative of the Investigative Committee Department for the Vitebsk Region.

Investigators will have to pass tests in firearms proficiency, physical fitness, and combat techniques, demonstrate knowledge of criminal and criminal procedure legislation, the capabilities of modern forensic equipment, as well as skills in working at a crime scene.

Based on the results of all activities, the best young investigator of the region will be determined. In addition to the competition, an educational program has been prepared for the participants, including both theoretical and extensive practical parts. Young investigators will have the opportunity to work in a team with more experienced colleagues at specially prepared training grounds, the conditions of which are close to real events. Training at the facilities will be conducted both during the day and at night. The organizers have accurately simulated scenes of road traffic accidents, murders, and explosions.

In addition, all necessary forensic equipment, including the mobile forensic laboratory of the Investigative Committee, is available to the employees. The educational and methodological training session with young employees of the region's investigative units is conducted with the aim of acquiring practical skills by investigators used in the performance of their duties, mastering the tactics of conducting investigative and other procedural actions, as well as creating a positive interpersonal climate, fostering employees in the spirit of civic duty, patriotism, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
