Vitebsk's best bricklayers work at Stroytrust №9

The city competition of professional skills among young bricklayers ended in Vitebsk today, the department for youth affairs and defense-mobilization work of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. The best result based on the results of the eleven-day competition was demonstrated by representatives of SU-38 of OJSC "Stroy-trust No. 9". Thus, among the teams, the first place in the team competition was taken by the tandem D.V. Kolosov-A.V. Levkov. The second and third places were shared by the teams of OJSC "Vittorgstroy" and SMP No. 169, respectively. In the individual competition, diplomas for first and second place were won by S.A. Matyushev and V.N. Vasilenok, also representing Stroy-trust No. 9. The third result was shown by I.N. Krishyanis from ODO "Santekhstroy". In addition, diplomas were awarded in the nominations "For the best quality in bricklaying", "For a high culture of production", "For the will to win", "For contribution to the social sphere" and "To the youngest bricklayer". The winners were encouraged with cash and valuable prizes. A total of about 30 best bricklayers from ten construction organizations in the city took part in the competition. The construction site of a kindergarten for 230 places under construction in a new residential microdistrict of Vitebsk became the platform for demonstrating their professional skills. During the competition, the participants fully erected the first floor of the new building, and the masters of the trowel performed the work at a high professional level. As noted in the City Executive Committee, the competition, designed to increase the prestige of the construction profession and promote advanced forms and methods of work, aroused interest from construction organizations. Taking this into account, it is planned to hold it more widely next year, involving more participants. -0-
