The best enterprise managers of 2018 have been named in the Vitebsk region
According to the chairman of the regional union of employers Vladimir Turavinov, raising the status of the director corps, the prestige of engineering and scientific professions remains among the most important priorities of the association's activities. This time, the best managers included directors of 12 enterprises and organizations from Vitebsk, Polotsk, Orsha, Chashniki and Postavy districts.
These are Andrey Korobkov (production department "Vitebskgaz" of RUP "Vitebskoblgaз"), Leonid Yakovlev (RUP "Vitebsk Agency for State Registration and Cadastre"), Alexander Voytenkov (OJSC "Design Bureau "Display""), Ilya Glushonok (UP "Housing and Communal Services of Postavy District"), Vasily Drobotov (OJSC "Polotsktransneft Druzhba"), Alexander Bazylenko (branch "Lukomlskaya GRES" of RUP "Vitebskenergo", Chashniki district), Alexander Koltunov (branch "Goryany-Agro" of OJSC "Polotsk KHP"), Petr Mazur (Polotsk track section of Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railway), Sergey Sukhodolov (Orsha Forestry), Pavel Yakovlev (Vitebsk Center for Standardization, Metrology and Certification), Oleg Shimchenko (OJSC "Vitebsk Tractor Parts Plant"), Ivan Pinchuk (SOOO "Fortex - Water Technologies").
Another award was not foreseen by the competition format, but it clearly fits into its ideology. Vasily Hamayonok was awarded an Honorary Diploma of the Regional Employers' Union for many years of conscientious and fruitful work as the director of OJSC "Polotsk Grain Processing Plant".
The winners of the honorary title "Best Design Engineer of the Vitebsk Region 2018" were Dmitry Podolinsky, Head of the Automated Control Systems Department of the Production Department of Information Technologies and Prospective Development of Gas Facilities of RUP "Vitebskoblgaz", and Elena Stankevich, a design engineer in the design and engineering department of OJSC "Polotsk-Steklovolokno". In 2018, she carried out the most significant developments in the electromechanical part of such investment projects implemented at the enterprise as the reconstruction of four furnaces, the installation of a glass melting unit, the expansion of the glass bead workshop, the optimization of the production of fiberglass products and consumer goods.
The best scientific developer was named Vitaly Okulich, an associate professor at the Department of Clinical Microbiology of the Vitebsk State Medical University, Candidate of Medical Sciences. He has over 350 scientific publications, 15 patents, and 140 rationalization proposals to his credit. Under his guidance, students have repeatedly achieved success in the republican review competition of student scientific works and have been awarded the V. Kuprevich Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The Executive Committee awards for achievements in the field of quality for 2018 were presented to OOO "PO "Energokomplekt", OJSC "Vitebsk Oil Extraction Plant", OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Dairy and Cheese Plant", OOO "Management Company of the Holding "Belarusian Leather and Footwear Company "Marko", RUP "Vitebskoblgaz".
The "Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus" competition has been held by the State Committee for Standardization together with the regional executive committee since 2002. Based on the results of 2018, 16 enterprises became its laureates, including OJSC "Vityaz", Vitebsk Oil Extraction Plant, "Vitebskdrev", LLC "Yugen", UP "Nit" of the Public Association "Belarusian Association of the Deaf", "Vitebskhlebprom", Postavy Dairy Plant, Glubokoye Dairy Canning Plant, branch "Tolochnye Syry" of OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant". Most of them were also awarded special prizes "Best in the Region", "Stable Quality", "New Product of the Year".
Since 2000, 61 enterprises have become laureates of the regional executive committee prize for achievements in quality, and more than 20 other organizations have confirmed this high title. In addition, more than 500 types of products from Vitebsk manufacturers have been awarded diplomas of the "Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus" competition.
