Best milk yields in Belarus at SPC "Larinovka" of Orsha district

Last year, SPC "Larinovka" received more than 11 thousand kilograms of milk per cow. This is the best result in the country. The farm, led by experienced agronomist Alexander Kukhtenkov, has held leading positions for several years.

 

The dictatorship of technology, discipline, and highly qualified personnel – this is the chain that makes up the success of SPC, where just over 70 people work today. It is worth noting that the Larinovka residents have high results not only in milk production; they are also ahead of everyone in crop production. The yield of grain crops here is consistently no less than 80 centners per hectare. And this is the highest indicator in the Vitebsk region.

Milk production in "Larinovka" is the main industry. They are focusing on it. A couple of years ago, the farm seriously considered increasing the cattle population. Three arch-shaped barns were erected, each for 300 head of cattle, and the construction of another one will begin soon. In these "tents" (and their assembly takes only a few months), the cows live in comfortable conditions: warm,

bright and spacious. High results are achieved through balanced nutrition, high-quality feed, good care, and the coordinated work, primarily, of the staff at the "Shugailovo" dairy complex. People are the main resource of a successful farm. The work of specialists is highly valued here. Everyone is worth their weight in gold. There are simply no superfluous workers. Only 25 people service the MTF. The milking machine operator team, consisting of Olga Marchenko, Svetlana Mikhailova, Yulia Gerasimenok, Elena Makaeva, Elena Rachenok, Elena Kuharenko, is a constant leader in district and regional competitions for milk production. By the way, in December and the fourth quarter of 2019, they became winners again. Workers like Olga Marchenko and Svetlana Mikhailova have been working at SPK "Larinovka" for several decades. They are proud of their profession and always work with dedication.

 

"There are a total of 770 head of dairy cows at the complex," says the chief zootechnician of SPK "Larinovka," Dmitry Turovets. "A new 'Europarallel 2x16' milking parlor has been opened. Three milk taxis are used for milk pasteurization and calf feeding."

Cow care at this farm is a well-established process. For example, newborn calves are fed colostrum for up to 15 days. They live in individual pens. Gradually, the calves are accustomed to supplementary feeding – concentrated feeds that contain a lot of energy. They help the calves to develop fully. After 60 days, the calves from the nursery group are moved toyurts – group houses where children learn to live in a collective. And when they grow up, they live in dormitories. Today, MTK "Shugailovo" has 2104 head of cattle.

The productivity achieved last year, as is known, is an average. The farm's record belongs to the cow Malyshka with a yield of 17,428 kilograms of milk. Her peer Milashka gave 15,706 kilograms, and another record-holder cow named Romashka produced 15,270 kilograms of "white gold". The mark of 11,042 kilograms is not the limit for "Larinovka".

– Time does not stand still, – says the chairman of the SPK Alexander Kukhtenkov. – Everything is changing rapidly in our field too. After all, he who stops has fallen behind. Therefore, we have no right to stand still. Only moving forward brings results. Of course, maintaining a high bar is always difficult, but the result will come when the entire team is interested in it.

"Larinovka" works on the principle: one for all and all for one, so ahead – new victories and peaks. And they will certainly be conquered by the best farm in the country.
