The best veterinarians in Belarus work in the Vitebsk region. This conclusion was reached by the jury, which assessed the training level of veterinarians of agricultural organizations from different regions of the country. 12 specialists, leaders of regional stages, took part in the final of the republican competition, held at the base of OJSC "BelVitunipharm".

The highest level of practical skills of each participant had already been confirmed by their performance results and worthy indicators reflected in the statistical reporting forms submitted during the selection of finalists. Therefore, the contenders for the title of the best veterinarian had to answer 30 theoretical veterinary test questions in half an hour.

As a result, the jury awarded the palm of victory to Alla Bogovich, a veterinarian at OJSC "Bueshchina" in the Sharkovshchyna district. The second place was won by Dmitry Kirpichenok, a veterinary paramedic at UP "P-S Karpeki" in the Polotsk district.

Ekaterina Yurchak, the chief veterinarian of RSUP "Experimental Base "Krinichnaya" in the Mozyr district of the Gomel region, also entered the top three leaders. All participants of the professional skills competition received diplomas and gift certificates.
