The best surgeon in the country works in Vitebsk

The winners and laureates of the republican competition "Doctor of the Year of the Republic of Belarus" based on the results of work in 2016 were honored last Thursday during a ceremony dedicated to Medical Workers' Day.

The award in the "Surgeon" nomination went to the head of the first urological department of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital, Oleg Golditsky.

The chief physician of the Vitebsk City Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care Station, Viktor Gomonov, was presented with the Certificate of Honor of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. The head of the clinical diagnostic laboratory of the Vitebsk City Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 2, Tamara Zhuravleva, was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the public association "Belaya Rus".
