The best front-runners in industry, agriculture and the social sphere of the region were awarded diplomas of the regional executive committee and the regional council

In honor of May Day, 80 representatives of various industries and spheres of activity in the region have been awarded with honorary diplomas of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Regional Council of Deputies, commendations from the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, and diplomas from the regional organization of the Belarusian Public Association "Belaya Rus".

This is one of the events continuing the wonderful tradition of honoring, in connection with the Labor Day holiday, the front-runners in industry, agriculture, and the social sphere, who successfully combine their direct work with active participation in public life, making a significant contribution to the progressive development of the region and the country.

When presenting the awards, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev emphasized that such people are our pride, a worthy example to follow, and wished them new successes for the benefit of Vitebsk region and Belarus.

Among the awardees are Dmitry Lazovsky, Rector of Polotsk State University; Alexander Mozgovoy, Chief Engineer of the Barsyevo agricultural enterprise in Liozno district; Sergey Nekrasov, Chief Physician of Novopolotsk Central City Hospital; Svetlana Burda, Director of Vitebsk Secondary School No. 24; Tatyana Gaponenko, Director of the Chashniki Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population; Nadezhda Burunova, a pensioner from Gorodok district, and many other worthy people of Vitebsk region.
