Four enterprises recognized as the best employers in Vitebsk
The results of the first city award among employers, announced by the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, the Association of Employers and Entrepreneurs, and the internet portal RabotaVitebsk.by, have been summarized. More than 30 enterprises, both state-owned and private, applied for participation. The main criteria for identifying leaders were the salary level, the provision of social
guarantees, and personnel policy.
– If the salary level was approximately the same, we compared the social package, which included vouchers to sanatoriums, cash bonuses for holidays, joint recreation, sports competitions, and much more. We also considered how much money was invested in improving professional skills, – noted the head of the internet portal RabotaVitebsk.by, Andrey Lapin. – By the way, the enterprises that took the first positions do not know what staff turnover is. That is, they are real leaders. The competition was held in four nominations: depending on the number of employees. Thus, in the nomination "Micro-organization up to 15 people," the award was given to ODO "Travel Agency ILVA," among small enterprises with up to 100 employees – ChPTUP "Vitstroytekhmash," among medium-sized enterprises with 101-250 employees – IchPUP "VIK – Animal Health," and among large business entities, RUP "Vitebsk Distillery" was recognized as the best. Winners will be able to use the "Best Employer" mark in their advertising and any other products.
The organizers of the award are confident that the competition, which will become annual, will improve the quality of labor relations in the city, identify their weak and strong sides, and provide an opportunity to exchange experience in creating quality and comfortable working conditions. Then the best employer will find the best employee. An example of this is the enterprise "Vitstroytekhmash," which feels confident both in the market for truck-mounted aerial platforms and is well-staffed.
– We are creating jobs; in 2012, we hired more than 40 people. And now people are signing up to join us, which, of course, is pleasing. The average salary today is approaching $1,000. Highly valued
