The best managers of the Vitebsk region's industrial complex were awarded at the regional executive committee
The awarding ceremony for the contest winners, as well as the presentation of honorary diplomas from the regional executive committee to directors for their contribution to the development of the industrial complex, took place today in Vitebsk with the participation of the region's head Nikolai Sherstnev and the chairman of the regional union of employers Vladimir Turavinov.
The list of the best managers includes directors of 12 enterprises and organizations from Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Vitebsk, Polotsk, Dokshitsy, and Gorodok districts. These are Anna Norkus (OJSC "Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm"), Sergey Balabaev (SOOO "Lanatex", Gorodok district), Valery Berezin (Vitebsk Power Supply District of the Vitebsk Branch of Belarusian Railway), Pavel Gerbulov (branch "Polotsk Production Department" UP "Vitebskoblgaz"), Sergey Ivanov (ChUP "Polymerkonstruktsiya"), Adam Konoplich (RUPAD "Vitebskavtodor"), Sergey Martsinkevich (PUP "Vitebsk Sawmill"), Nikolai Rusak (branch "Vitebsk Electric Networks" RUP "Vitebskenergo"), Vladimir Rogovnev (OOO "Yudzhen", Novopolotsk), Anatoly Sivko (OJSC "Begomlsky Plant "Vetraź"), Anatoly Shchasny (Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University), Vladimir Yatskevich (UPP "Polotsk Dairy Plant").
Among the specialists of the design departments of enterprises in the Vitebsk region, the best were recognized as the chief designer of OJSC "Orsha Tool Plant" Dmitry Matyuk and the design engineer of PE "Machine-building company "Vitebsk Elevators" Evgeny Medvedev, who developed a garbage truck model with original characteristics. Their production is being mastered at "Vitebsk Elevators" this year. Dmitry Matyuk was awarded for the development of special tools and technological equipment within the framework of the state import substitution program, for the implementation of advanced solutions in the development of new types of products.
The best among researchers was recognized as Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Histology of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine Igor Gromov. Thus, the scientist's successes in the development and implementation of new domestic biological preparations for the prevention of infectious diseases of birds and a number of other achievements in veterinary science are noted.
Honorary diplomas of the regional executive committee were awarded to the General Director of SOOO "LLK-Naftan" Andrey Zvontsov, the head of SOOO "Manuli Hydraulics BEL" Andrey Ivanyuk, and Georgy Kosten, who heads the Polotsk Dairy Plant.
Competitions for awarding honorary titles are held to stimulate the improvement of the business qualifications and professionalism of the director corps, as well as to enhance the prestige of scientific and engineering professions, and to stimulate the initiative of scientific employees and engineering and technical workers in implementing innovations. One of the important criteria for determining laureates among the director corps is the organization of work at enterprises with young specialists, for the targeted training of a personnel reserve.
