The best dentists of the Vitebsk region were determined at a professional skills competition

The winner of the regional stage of the "Best in Profession" professional skills competition was dentist Anastasia Timoshchenko from the Vitebsk Regional Dental Polyclinic (pictured in the center). A second-degree diploma was awarded to Natalia Andreychik from the Novopolotsk Dental Polyclinic, and a third-degree diploma to Marina Lapekho, representing the Vitebsk City Clinical Dental Polyclinic. They demonstrated high professional skills, the ability to work with modern filling materials, apply innovative approaches in their work, competently fill out medical documentation, and adhere to the principles of deontology. The winner earned the right to participate in the final of a similar republican professional competition.

All participants representing specialized polyclinics in Vitebsk, Orsha, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, and the dental department of Beshenkovichi Central Regional Hospital were awarded incentive prizes. The award ceremony was conducted by Vasily Varganov (pictured on the left), chief physician of the regional dental polyclinic and chief freelance dentist of the regional health department. He noted that the contestants' professional work was evaluated not only by the jury, headed by L. Kazeko, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Head of the 1st Department of Therapeutic Dentistry at Belarusian State Medical University, but also by patients.
