The best blueberry picking team will be chosen at the eco-fest in the Polotsk district
The "Polotsk Blueberry-2019" Eco-Festival will be held on July 13 in the Polotsk district, as reported by the press service of the Polotsk District Executive Committee.
Competitions and festivals for berry and mushroom picking have already become a hallmark of the Polotsk district, attracting more and more attention and participants each year. One of the most popular – for blueberry picking – will take place for the ninth time this year and will bring together almost 100 teams (about 400 people).
The eco-festival will consist of two blocks. The main block is blueberry picking in the district from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. During its course, participants must prepare a creative report: the photo contest "Blueberry Reportage" will be held online. The final part will take place at the recreation center of OJSC "Polotskbyt" (village of Plussy) and includes the work of thematic platforms, a cultural and entertainment program, including the presentation "Blueberry Kaleidoscope", the review competition "Business Card", the chastushka contest "Blueberry Battle", and the culinary competition "Blueberry Masterpiece". Here, the winning teams will be determined and awarded with souvenirs and honorary diplomas.
The organizer of the eco-festival is the Polotsk District Executive Committee.
