The best large family will be named today in Vitebsk
Vitebsk will today select the best large family of the city, a BELTA correspondent was informed at the Vitebsk City Executive Committee.
The annual city review-competition, dedicated to Family Day, will be held at the Vitebsk Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth. Eight family teams will compete for the title of winner. The jury members will determine which of them truly deserves this title based on the results of performances in the competitions "Hello - it's us!", "Our Family", acquaintance with exhibitions of family creative works "Our Golden Hands" and homemade pastries "Delicious, lick your fingers".
The best family team will be rewarded with a cash prize and will also have the right to represent Vitebsk at the regional review-competition.
The event is held in order to enhance the prestige and authority of large families, strengthen their unity, spiritual and moral foundations, revive and promote family values and traditions. This is one of the most significant events of the National Program for Demographic Security of the Republic of Belarus and the Program for Demographic Security of the Vitebsk Region, the City Executive Committee emphasized.
