The best youth team of the region will be determined on October 1 in Vitebsk

September 27, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The best youth squad of the region will be determined on October 1 in Vitebsk, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM. 26 teams of five people aged 18 to 31 will take part in the competition, which has been held annually since 1999. The road to the title of the best squad will not be easy. Thus, participants will have to answer an extensive list of questions on the rules of law enforcement, legislation, and medical training. The latter also includes a practical task. The next stage is dedicated to physical training. This includes a 100m run, a set of strength exercises, and overcoming a complex obstacle course. No concessions are made for girls: they will perform all tasks on an equal footing with young men, the BRSM noted. The organizers of the event are the regional organization of the BRSM, the Department for Youth Affairs, and the Department of Internal Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Currently, there are 27 youth squads in the Vitebsk region with a total number of over 600 people. These formations have already proven themselves as effective assistance to police officers in maintaining public order and conducting preventive measures. Among the best in terms of organization and direct activities, according to the Department of Internal Affairs, are the squads from Vitebsk (among cities) and Lepel (among districts). -0-
