The best school primary organization of BRSM will be determined today in Vitebsk, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of BRSM.

The final of the "School Marathon" competition for the best primary organization of student youth, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the youth union, will be held at the regional palace of children and youth. In the 2012/2013 academic year, about 180 schools in the region competed for victory in the competition.

Eight teams from Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Orsha, Dokshitsy, Liozno, and Sharkovshchina reached the final. At the final stage, they will present the achievements of their primary organizations in creative "Portfolios" and at the welcome competition "Meet us!". The secretaries of the primary organizations will have to demonstrate their leadership qualities in the captain's competition: in a pre-planned image, they will reflect on one of the proposed topics, and then answer tricky questions from the hosts. The competition of the same name in the form of agitation brigades will help to make sure that "We are on the same path with friends". "A day from the life of primary organizations" will be introduced by the "Homework" presented in the form of humorous videos.

"To become participants of the final round, the children overcame a marathon lasting almost a full academic year," emphasized the BRSM, noting that during the preparatory stage, work was carried out to generalize the activities of the primary organizations, and teams were formed led by the secretaries of the primary organizations. Then, in the educational institutions of the region, no less intense regional and city stages were held, the winning teams of which met at the zonal tours.

The initiative to hold the "School Marathon" belongs to the regional organization of BRSM. The project is successfully implemented, helping to identify initiative, creative youth. The competition is designed to help schoolchildren realize themselves and form an active civic position.

The organizers of the competition are the education department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Regional Committee of BRSM, and the Vitebsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth.
