The President will familiarize himself with the development of agricultural industrial associations in the Vitebsk region
It is planned that the President will first familiarize himself with the work of the Glubokoye Dairy and Canning Plant. It is possible that the head of state will also visit other production facilities in the district center.
During the working trip, special attention will be paid to the progress of implementing Decree No. 70 of February 25, 2020 "On the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Vitebsk Region," which concerns the formation and development of agro-industrial associations.
The relevant issue will be considered, including using the dairy and canning plant as an example. In execution of the decree, an agro-industrial association has been established on the basis of the organization, which includes 23 agricultural organizations (including 3 agro-services), 3 processing enterprises (with one branch), and one trading organization.
OJSC "Glubokoye MCC" is the largest producer of dairy products (canned milk, cheese, dry milk and whey), processing about 16% of the milk in the Vitebsk region.
OJSC "Glubokoye MCC" includes the head enterprise located in the city of Glubokoye and the production branch "Braslavryba." The plant is the founder and owner of the Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant, TUP "Glubokoye Kolos," and agricultural enterprises "Za Rodinu," "Mnyuto," "Meretskiye," "Koroli," "Konstantinov Dvor," and "Golubichi."
The enterprise produces almost 80 types of dairy products, which are sold under the "Glubokoye" brand both in Belarus and abroad. The products are supplied to the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, Ukraine, Moldova, Libya, the USA, China, Syria, Vietnam, and Japan, among others.
